Idaho 4th of July Parade Live From Boise

10:00am - 11:30am | Downtown Boise

Celebrate the Nation's birth in Idaho's Capital City with the Boise 4th of July Parade, featuring a route through Jefferson and Bannock streets and festivities starting at 5:00 am. The parade, honoring the 116th Brigade Combat Operation Iraqi Freedom III as Grand Marshals, invites businesses, organizations, families, and musicians to participate and compete for prize money benefiting Idaho non-profits. Highlights include a community breakfast, a hot air balloon launch, the presentation of colors, and a reading of the Declaration of Independence, culminating in the parade at 10:00 am.

Boise Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration

06:00pm - 11:00pm | Ann Morrison Park, 1000 S Americana Blvd, Boise

As is tradition, a stunning fireworks display will launch from Ann Morrison Park on the 4th of July.

Spend the evening at the park and enjoy the free fireworks show synchronized to music on 107.1 K-HITS. The fireworks are set to illuminate the sky starting around 10:15 p.m. (dusk) on the 4th of July, with festivities in Ann Morrison Park beginning at 6 p.m.

Food and drink vendors will be on site, offering concessions for purchase throughout the evening. This year's food trucks feature a variety of fresh fusion foods, sweet treats, and summertime classics. Beer and wine will be available for purchase for those 21 and older.

While enjoying a picnic in the park, cool off in the Ann Morrison Park interactive fountain, which will display red, white, and blue lights.

Ann Morrison Park will be closed to vehicles all day on Thursday, July 4, 2024. However, those planning to watch the fireworks are welcome to ride-share, walk, or bike into the park throughout the day.

Our local merchants plan exciting, engaging in-store events including food and beverage tastings, local art exhibits, retail trunk shows, live music, family activities, and entertainment in a special and unique way you’ll only find Downtown Boise. Events typically run from 5–9pm, but each merchant creatively plans their own event so check each listing for individual hours and details.

Meridian Independence Day Celebration

04:00pm - 10:30pm | Storey Park, Meridian Dairy Days, Meridian, ID

Meridian City is looking forward to a grand fireworks display in Storey Park to celebrate Independence Day!  The park will be open to families for picnics and fireworks viewing.   Food trucks will be onsite at 4:00 pm for snacks and tasty local cuisine.  

Hometown Celebration - Firecracker Fun Run

08:00am | Hunters Creek Sports Park, 1500 N Star Rd, Star, ID

Hunter's Creek Park's NW Parking Lot is where the Fun Run gets started. Time of the race: 8:00 a.m. precise. A maximum of five runners (walking and jogging) may be included in each relay team. Each leg of the relay will consist of one circuit (1 km) around the park. Wear what makes you feel most patriotic! Use the following link to sign up for the Fun Run. Entry fee is $15, which includes a Fun Run t-shirt if paid by the close of business on Monday, June 17.

Star Hometown Celebration Parade

10:00am | W State St & Star Road, 11184 W State St, Star, ID

Check-in for the parade begins at 9:00 a.m. Parade at W State Street in front of El Mariachi Loco. The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. and travels west, turns right on Star Road and continues to W. Blake Drive. Cash prizes awarded for best entries. Parade route will be closed to through traffic during the approximately one hour parade. Please plan travel accordingly. $25 per float or group to enter.

Freedom Fireworks Show

10:15pm - 11:00pm | Hunters Creek Sports Park, 1500 N Star Rd, Star, ID

Prepare for the fireworks, which start at 10:15 p.m. Though we might be biased, we believe this to be among the BEST shows in the valley. A few things to know about Hunters Creek Park: pets and smoking are not permitted. When there are fireworks, please keep your animal family members safe and secure at home. Bring blankets and chairs with low backs. Pop-up tents are allowed, but please respect other patrons by positioning them behind the sound and lighting booth to allow unhindered views for those in front. For fire safety considerations, the south parking lot and park restrooms will be off-limits to the general public. There will be porta potties available all over the park. 

Traffic in and out of the east parking lot near the baseball grounds will be prohibited. Although outside food is welcome, starting at 3 p.m. there will be food trucks and vendors selling refreshments. and in the west parking lot all evening long. To assist in removing traffic following the event, we will have traffic control. If at all possible, we encourage our local guests to bike or stroll to the park.

July 4th Parade

09:00am | 110 S. 5th Ave., Caldwell, ID

Come experience the best darn July 4th parade in the valley! The CPD Pipes and Drums will be leading the parade with the Canyon County Sheriffs Office Honor Guard. The parade starts at 9am and the Walkway of Heroes will be setup all day.

Lakeside Liberty Fest, McCall, ID

11:00am - 04:00pm | 1120 East Lake Street, McCall, ID

The Lakeside Liberty Fest is McCall’s annual Fourth of July celebration, featuring a variety of fun activities such as Bouncin Bin Inflatables, a zipline, and numerous food vendors and shops open from 10 am until dusk. On July 5th, there will be a Movie by the Lake, showcasing Mean Girls 2024.

On July 4th, the festivities kick off with Pilates in the Park at 9 am, followed by a volleyball tournament. A City welcome tent will be available from 10 am to 4 pm, offering Fourth of July swag and supporting local youth fundraisers. The day will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display at dusk. Attendees are advised to be prepared for any weather conditions, as mountain weather can change rapidly.

4th of July Music Festival in McCall, ID

10:15am - 05:30pm | 3890 Goose Lake Rd, McCall, ID

Enjoy FREE live music in the Brundage base area this Fourth of July! Spread out on our grassy alpine amphitheater or grab a spot on the plaza on Smoky’s deck to enjoy three festive and fun bands to celebrate the 4th. Food and drinks will be available on the plaza and in Smoky’s.

4th of July Celebration in Kuna

Enjoy FREE live music in the Brundage base area this Fourth of July! Spread out on our grassy alpine amphitheater or grab a spot on the plaza on Smoky’s deck to enjoy three festive and fun bands to celebrate the 4th. Food and drinks will be available on the plaza and in Smoky’s.

Baldy Bluebird Music Festival
